After all the rain...

We had five days of intense rain, south to south west winds that made the west and North West side of Grand Cayman not diveable.

However on Saturday conditions improved and we dived the Don Foster's Dive reef. Turned out to be a great dive, full of fish life including a nice size Nurse Shark free swimming and a Leopard Flat Worm, amongst other creatures, all found by Esteban while Romeo and I practiced our photo skills.
We feel pretty confident that we can guide any photographer and show her or him where the creatures are without the worry of navigating the dive sites.
We are planning for a photo night dive during this week if weather continues improving.
Until then...

Turtle Farm Mini Wall

Dive site location this week was Turtle Farm Mini Wall East. A light "East to West" current brought tons of jelly fish like creatures. The fish were abundant and very active feeding on the organisms going by.
We found a fairly large Harlequin Pipe Fish, Pygmy File Fish, Peppermint Shrimp and Blennies of many kind.
Excellent dive. Bottom time was 126 minutes. Maximum depth 59 feet.
