Diving all week end long!

We spent Friday and Saturday diving right in front of Don Foster's Dive reef. Friday we managed to explore the South side of the reef and on Saturday we dove twice on the North side.

All the dives were fantastic and although there were particles in the water, vis was pretty decent and fish life was plenty. Yesterday we saw an Eagle Ray, today a Nurse Shark. And tons of little creatures for our macro lenses.
The team was Esteban, Daniel, Romeo, Tracy and myself.
Toward the end of the day seas were getting a bit rougher than during the morning but pretty good conditions regardless.
Depth mas a max of 54 feet; average about 40 and the shallow about 16 feet.

Turtle Farm Photo Expedition

Two dives during the week end with Romeo, Daniel and Tracy. Saturday water was a bit murky, light current heading west. So we dove east along the mini wall. Great activity on the reef. A group of five Tiger Groupers were causing havoc around the reef while feeding. Big schools of Grunts hiding amongst the very tall soft coral branches on the 30 feet shallow pan.

Sunday vis was much better and no current. We headed west along the sand and out toward the main wall. There before the actual drop off , a large tall coral formation erupts with life. The bottom depth is about 54 feet the top sits in about 40. The formation has many ledges, small tunnels and many places for creatures to find shelters. Rope and tube sponges abound, great cleaning stations and lot of light reflecting from the sandy bottom. Tarpons were also out and about, big Parrots fish and a big turtle feeding.
Great dives!
